BJ STAGNER

B.J. Stagner is an independent Baptist pastor and missionary serving in Wales. Driven by a passion for biblical teaching, discipleship, and the transformative power of God’s Word, he dedicates himself to guiding others toward spiritual growth and a deeper relationship with Christ.

With years of experience in both ministry and professional life, B.J. leads local church communities while also engaging in writing and speaking opportunities. His work focuses on making scriptural truth practical and accessible, helping believers navigate everyday life with faith and purpose.

A former collegiate football player, B.J. went on to build a successful career in healthcare. During the second month of his medical residency, he felt a clear call to preach the Gospel and surrendered his life to ministry.

Following this pivotal moment, B.J. developed a thriving prison ministry, sharing hope and biblical truth with those behind bars. He later planted a local New Testament church, where he dedicated himself to teaching, discipleship, and community outreach.

Today, B.J. draws on his diverse experiences—both on the field and in the professional world—to serve as a pastor and missionary, focused on seeing lives transformed through the Word of God.

After more than a decade serving as a pastor and twenty years working in the business world, B.J. was called to dedicate himself fully to church planting in the United Kingdom. Today, he serves as the pastor of two local churches that he and his team have established, where he is committed to sound biblical teaching and building strong, supportive communities.

Beyond his pastoral responsibilities, B.J. remains actively involved in a range of community-focused ministries. He teaches Bible lessons in a local primary school, leads a gym ministry that blends physical health with spiritual encouragement, coaches individuals both in sports and life, and serves as a gym chaplain, offering guidance and support to those he meets.
